Acercamientos al vocablo λόγος en el comentario a Juan de Orígenes

Abstract

This article offers an approach to the meaning that the word. has in Origen's thought, from the consideration of his Commentary on John, particularly in the books I and II, where we found his treatise on the passage John 1, 1-2. For this purpose, it presents the close philosophical context from which Origen receives that term. Then, the article comprehensively analyzes the multiple meanings of starting with the simpler ones, and ending with the terms carrying more theological significance, as they are presented in the first two books of his Commentary, showing that the deepest sense of the term refers to an eminently relational existence, both to the Father, as to us.

El presente artículo pretende ofrecer una aproximación al sentido que el vocablo λóγος tiene en el pensamiento de Orígenes, a partir de la consideración de su Comentario a Juan, en particular de los libros I y II, donde comenta el pasaje Jn 1, 1-2. Con este propósito, se presenta el contexto fi losófi co próximo desde el cual el Alejandrino recibe dicho vocablo, para luego analizar comprensivamente los diversos usos de λóγος, comenzando por aquellos más simples, y terminando por los más cargados de signifi cación teológica, presentes en los primeros dos libros de su Comentario, mostrando que el sentido más propio del vocablo hace referencia a una existencia eminentemente relacional, tanto respecto al Padre, como a nosotros.
